S S Rajamouli’s fantasy drama ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ surpassed yet another milestone at the box office. The movie grossed Rs 100 crores at the Karnataka box office in 19 days of its release by minting Rs 100.2 crores approximately.
Even though the movie surpassed Rs 200-crore gross mark and Rs 400-crore nett mark in Telugu and Hindi till date, it recently surpassed Rs 100 crore mark in Tamilnadu on the 16th day of its release and now minted Rs 100 crores gross in the Karnataka on 19th day of its release.
The film also emerges as all-time Industry hit in the Karnataka surpassing Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘Rajaakumara’ collection of Rs 78 crores approximately.
Except in Kerela, the movie also remains as Industry hit in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and even in Nepal film Industry. Prabhas’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ still needs to mint Rs 31 crores more in the Kerela to surpass Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan collection of Rs 86.5 crores.
Nonetheless, the film is heading towards $20 million mark in the USA and it grossed $19.35 million in its 19 days of its release.
Also starring Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Sathya Raj, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar in the lead roles. ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is all about how Mahendra Baahubali (son of Amarendra Baahubali) takes revenge on Bhallala Deva. Prabhas played a dual role as Mahendra and Amarendra Baahubali and Rana Daggubati is seen in the role of Bhallala Deva as an antagonist. M M Keeravani composed the music and it is bankrolled by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under their Arka Media Works banner.
