Aamir Khan’s wrestling drama ‘Dangal’ is unstoppable at the Chinese box office. The film minted $6.14 million on second Friday, taking the total China collection to $33.24 million, which is Rs 213.3 crores in INR. Dangal is the first Indian movie to cross Rs 200 crore mark at the Chinese box office and it is heading towards more benchmarks in the China with steady run at the ticket window.
In the first phase of release, Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ grossed Rs 744 crores from the worldwide box office. While the movie released in Taiwan and China markets in the second phase, where it minted Rs 20 crores approximately from the Taiwan markets and Rs 213.3 crores from the Chinese markets till date.
In the Taipei, Capital city of Taiwan, Nitesh Tiwari’s directional project grossed $1.8 million till date, which is Rs 11.5 crores in INR.
On the whole, Aamir Khan – Nitesh Tiwari’s wrestling drama ‘Dangal’ grossed Rs 977.3 crores at the worldwide box office till date.
As the film is performing extremely well in the Chinese markets, it will easily surpass the Rs 1000-crore mark by today as yesterday alone the movie collected Rs 39.4 crores on a weekday, So minting another Rs 23 crores today to reach the magical mark on a weekend won’t be a difficult one for Dangal film in the China.
