Dangal grossed Rs 400 crore mark at the Chinese box office

Aamir Khan’s wrestling drama ‘Dangal’ is unstoppable at the Chinese box office. Even after the end of its second-weekend run, the film is steady at the ticket window on second Monday, where it grossed $4.91 million, which is more than double the amount of movie’s collection on its opening day.

With the addition of second Monday collection, ‘Dangal’ grossed $65.17 million in its 11 days run at the Chinese box office, which is Rs 417.4 crores in the INR. Thus Nitesh Tiwari’s directional project entered Rs 400 crore club in the China and heading towards Rs 500 crore club soon.

On the other hand, Dangal which released on December 23rd, 2016 grossed Rs 744 crores from the worldwide box office in its first phase of release, where it minted Rs 542.5 crores gross from India and Rs 201.5 crores from the overseas markets.

While the film released in Taiwan on March 24th, where it minted close to Rs 21 crores approximately at the ticket window. In the Taiwan capital city, Taipei, Dangal grossed Rs 12.04 crores till date.

Overall, Aamir Khan – Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Dangal’ movie grossed Rs 1182.4 crores from the worldwide box office till date and heading towards Rs 1200-crore mark by the end of today.
