NTR’s triple-role drama ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ fared well at the box office on Sunday. The film minted Rs 5.91 crores share approximately at the Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Sunday, taking the total 4 days AP/TS box office collection to Rs 36.35 crores share approximately.
While the film grossed $1385k approximately at the USA box office till date. From the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu markets, K S Ravindra’s directional project raked Rs 5.45 crores share and Rs 87 lakhs share approximately in its four days run. From rest of the India and rest of the world markets, the film minted Rs 2.30 crores share approximately.
On the whole, NTR – K S Ravindra’s ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ minted Rs 48.87 crores share approximately at the worldwide box office by the end of its first-weekend run.
As the film’s worldwide theatrical rights were sold for Rs 86 crores, ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ still needs to mint Rs 37.13 crores share to reach its break-even amount.
With mixed reports for the film and the release of other Dussehra releases like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ and Sharwanand’s ‘Mahanabhavudu’ this week, it is going to be a tough task for ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ to sustain at the box office from today.
