Farhan Akhtar’s crime-thriller-drama ‘Lucknow Central’ fared well at the box office on Sunday. The film minted Rs 3.56 crores nett at the Indian box office on Sunday, which is 26.24% growth in collection compared to its Saturday revenue of Rs 2.82 crores nett.
By the end of its first-weekend run, Ranjit Tiwari’s directional project minted Rs 8.42 crores nett at the Indian box office with a gross amount of Rs 11.12 crores approximately and a distributor share amount of Rs 4.29 crores approximately.
As the film needs to mint Rs 25 crores nett at the Indian box office to remain as the safe venture, Lucknow Central still needs to mint Rs 16.58 crores nett to reach its break-even amount.
With mixed reports for the film, we need to wait and see how it fares at the box office on weekdays after having a moderate collection in its opening weekend.
