Varun Tej – Sreenu Vaitla’s ‘Mister’ failed to grab the audience attention towards the movie post the 1st-weekend due to poor word of the mouth. The film is heading towards disaster at the box office with a below-par performance at the ticket window in its 1st-week run.
The movie raked Rs 18.46 lakhs share on the 7th day of its release at Two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, taking the total 1st-week collection of Varun Tej’s Mister at AP/TS box office to Rs 6.19 crores share.
In the USA, the film minted $74,349 till date. The Karnataka and rest of the areas collection in its 7 days run is Rs 98 lakhs share.
On the whole, Varun Tej-Lavanya Tripathi-Hebah Patel’s triangular love story ‘Mister’ collected Rs 7.32 crores share in its 1st week run at the worldwide box office.
As the film’s theatrical rights were sold for Rs 22 crores, it still needs to recover Rs 14.68 crores to reach its break-even amount.
However, after observing the film’s poor box office run post the 1st-weekend, Mister is likely to end as huge loss venture for its distributors in its final run.
