Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Naam Shabana’ completed its first week run at the box office. The film failed to create a big impact at the ticket window due to poor talk from the critics and the general public, but still, considering the limited budget of Rs 25 crores, the movie is decent in its 7 days run at the box office.
Shivam Nair’s directional project minted Rs 1.58 crores nett on Thursday taking the total 1st-week India collections to Rs 27.18 crores nett. The gross and share amount will be close to Rs 38.05 and Rs 14.36 crores.
In the USA, ‘Naam Shabana’ minted $203k by the end of its 1st-week run. The total overseas collection of ‘Naam Shabana’ in 7 days grossed Rs 4.92 crores.
On the whole, Taapsee Pannu – Akshay Kumar’s ‘Naam Shabana’ collected Rs 42.97 crores gross and Rs 16.48 crores share worldwide in its 1st-week run. However, let’s wait and see how the film performs in its forthcoming days at the ticket window.
Naam Shabana is a spin-off to Taapsee’s character from the 2015 film Baby written by Neeraj Pandey. The film has Danny Denzongpa, Madhurima Tulli, Murali Sharma, Elli Avram and Anupam Kher in special appearances along with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.
