Newton 2 days box office collection in India

Rajkummar Rao’s comedy-drama ‘Newton’ fared extremely well at the box office on Saturday. The film minted Rs 2.52 crores nett at the Indian box office on Saturday, which is 162.5% growth in its revenue compared to its Friday collection of Rs 96 lakhs nett.

By the end of its two days run, Amit V Masurkar’s directional project minted Rs 3.48 crores nett at the Indian box office with a gross amount of Rs 4.59 crores approximately and a distributor share amount of Rs 1.77 crores approximately.

As the film’s Indian theatrical rights were sold for Rs 7 crores approximately, ‘Newton’ still needs to mint Rs 5.23 crores share to reach its break-even amount.

With extremely positive reviews and phenomenal growth at the box office on Saturday, the film is estimated to end its first-weekend run between Rs 6.5 to 7.50 crores nett at the Indian box office, which is going to be a decent-weekend for this small-budget entertainer.
