By the end of its three days run, Amit V Masurkar’s directional project minted Rs 6.90 crores nett at the Indian box office with a gross amount of Rs 9.10 crores approximately and a distributor share amount of Rs 3.51 crores approximately.
As the film’s Indian theatrical rights were sold for Rs 7 crores approximately, ‘Newton’ still needs to mint Rs 3.49 crores share to reach its break-even amount.
With extremely positive reviews and superb revenues at the box office in its first-weekend run, the film is estimated to do well at the box office in its forthcoming days too eyeing for a first-week Indian box office collection around Rs 14 crores nett approximately.
