Sharwanand’s romantic comedy drama ‘Radha’, which released last Friday, opened up with mixed reports from the critics and the general public. Despite mixed reports, the film is steady and performing moderately at the ticket window in Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
On Wednesday, the movie raked Rs 49 lakhs approximately from the AP/TS box office, taking the total 6 days collection to Rs 6.7 crores share.
In the USA, debutant Chandra Mohan’s directional film grossed $120k approximately at the ticket window. While the rest of the India and rest of the world collection is estimated to be around Rs 30 lakhs.
Overall, Sharwanand – Lavanya Tripathi’s ‘Radha’ minted Rs 7.29 crores share at the worldwide box office in its six days run.
As the film’s theatrical rights were sold for Rs 11.5 crores, the movie still needs to collect Rs 4.21 crores to reach its break-even amount.
Even though the film performing well at the ticket window, we need to wait and see how it is going to sustain the competition from Nikhil Siddarth’s ‘Keshava’, which is hitting the screens worldwide tomorrow.
