Shah Rukh Khan – Anushka Sharma’s romantic-drama ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is all set for grand release worldwide tomorrow. Carrying good buzz on the film with its Intriguing promos, the movie made decent profits for the filmmakers before its release from the pre-release business.
The Indian theatrical rights were sold for Rs 75 crores to NH Studios, which means the film needs to mint Rs 150 crores nett at the Indian box office to recover its Investment for the distributor. While the overseas rights of Imtiaz Ali’s directional project were sold for Rs 45 crores, taking the total theatrical business of ‘Ja Harry Met Sejal’ to a whopping amount of Rs 120 crores worldwide.
The Satellite, music, digital and other rights were sold for Rs 75 crores approximately. On the whole, Shah Rukh Khan – Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ did a superb pre-release business of Rs 195 crores approximately.
Made on a budget of Rs 90 crores approximately, the film remained as profitable venture for the filmmakers by earning a decent profit of Rs 105 crores before the release itself.
